What is the Cake Smash Photography?
Cake Smash photography is a photography trend that gained popularity only in the North American region. It probably originated from the Mexican tradition known as the “La Mordida” but with the passage of time, it became quite popular in North America and spread throughout. Parents would use images from this session for birthday invites, often taking place months before their child’s actual birth date.
Celebrate Your Child’s Cake Smash Milestone at Giggles Newborn Studio
I recommend booking your session when your baby is 11 months old so there’s plenty of time to prepare before the big day. During our consultation call, we’ll chat about everything—from themes and colors to props and outfits—to make sure the session is as unique and special as your little one.
Cake Smash Package Details
- Up to 1 hour session time
- 20 fully edited images delivered as a digital download
- 1 backdrop is included
- 2 outfit changes allowed
- Props, backdrops, headband and costumes are included in the package
- Investment: $550 + HST
- Online proofing gallery with option to purchase more edited images
- Cake add-on is available for $75
- 15 minutes client consultation
- As per studio policy, unedited (i.e. raw) images will NOT be provided
